Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, followed by an afternoon safari to explore the park’s wildlife-rich wetlands and open plains. Spend the evening at your lodge or camp in Amboseli.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and head to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge (approx. 4-5 hours). The unique stilted architecture of the lodge offers incredible views of wildlife at the waterholes below. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive in the sanctuary, where you can spot elephants, lions, and other animals. Overnight at Salt Lick Lodge, with a chance to observe wildlife from the comfort of your room.

Leave Taita Hills after breakfast and travel to Tsavo East National Park (approx. 2 hours). Famous for its vast savannahs and red-dust elephants, Tsavo East offers an exciting game-viewing experience. Arrive at your lodge for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s open plains, looking for lions, giraffes, and cheetahs. Spend the night at a lodge or camp in Tsavo East.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo East before departing for Mombasa (approx. 3-4 hours). Arrive in the coastal city in the afternoon, where you can relax by the beach or explore the vibrant Swahili culture and historic landmarks like Fort Jesus and the Old Town.
